If you would like to contribute using a talent we don’t have listed, please contact us at info@flscenter.com and let us know.  We are grateful for all givers and servers!

FLS provides necessary supplies, clothing, and equipment for expectant and new mothers and babies.  These items are donated by our generous community members.  Check back here to find out what our current needs are or call the center at 734-434-3088.

  • Summer Education Program:
    • Thanks to Sr. Gail Lancaster, who is our interim education coordinator, and several dedicated volunteers, we’re offering classes for our moms through the beginning of August.  If you feel called to help out (or just investigate the possibility) with this short-term weekly commitment, please call or email the center administrator at admin@flscenter.com.  Your assistance helps even if you only commit to helping for a few classes.
  • Monthly Volunteer Service Days at FLS:
    • We try to schedule a volunteer work day monthly at the center, usually from 9am to about 2 pm.  If you or your group would like to staff one of our service days, please email admin@flscenter.com.  Ask for someone to call you about scheduling a group or ask to be added to the email notices we send out when a service day is planned.
  • Coordinate an annual breakfast at FLS Center for pastors and staff members of our partner churches.
  • Bring a group of people to help prepare the newsletters for mailing (4x/yr).
  • Rake, sweep and trim the vegetation around our parking lot and yard.
  • Website designer, to re-do our clinic site for clients at flscenter.com.
  • Website maintenance, to keep flsfriends.com and flscenter.com up to date.
  • Cleaners to clean the center once a week, about 3 hrs/wk.
